Draxler is nearing his move to Qatar from France
Julian Draxler traveled to Doha today to finish his physical before joining Al Ahli from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Fabrizio Romano. The German attacking midfielder has agreed to terms with the Qatari club until 2025. After spending last season on loan at Benfica, the German is regarded as surplus to needs at the Parc des Princes.
The former Schalke attacking midfielder is the third PSG player to relocate to Qatar, following Abdou Diallo and, more recently, Marco Verratti. Both players joined Al Ahli’s domestic rivals Al-Arabi, with PSG reportedly paying €45 million for Veratti.
