FC Union Berlin has completed the signing of Juventus veteran Leonardo Bonucci.
“With Leonardo, we are signing a player with a lot of experience,” FC Union Berlin director of men’s professional football Oliver Ruhnert explained.
“He has demonstrated his abilities for many years, both nationally and internationally.” We are confident that his attitude and adaptability will broaden our defensive options and propel us to a higher level.”
Bonucci, 36, explained:
“It’s exciting for me to be venturing abroad for the first time in my career.” At Union, I have the opportunity to continue playing at the highest level while also assisting the club in three hard contests. “I am very excited about this new stage in my career.”
The details of the deal were not disclosed by the German capital club.
