Fenerbahçe have agreed personal terms with Milan midfielder Rade Kruni, who is a key January target.

Fenerbahçe agreed terms with Rade Kruni

The Bosnian has long been linked with a move to Fener, but a summer deal fell through, but it appears that Fener will return for him in January.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW), Kruni is no longer part of the club’s project and will leave in January. Personal terms are agreed upon following a meeting involving Fener and Kruni’s entourage. At the Turkish club, he will earn €3 million per season.

Fener is expected to offer Milan an initial fee of 6 million, but the Rossoneri expect to earn around 10 million from the player’s sale. Milan intends to use the funds to pursue Lille midfielder Jonathan David.

The asking price for the Canada international is still said to be high, but Serhou Guirassy, who has a much lower release clause, is another target.

Fenerbahçe has reached a preliminary agreement with Rade Krunic, who was unable to join the club during the summer transfer window but was recently deemed surplus by Milan. The transfer fee demanded by the Italian powerhouse has also been revealed.

Fenerbahçe, which built an ambitious squad during the summer transfer window and is competing with Galatasaray at the top of the Super Lig, had Rade Krunic on their radar for a long time for the number 6 position, but Milan were unwilling to let him go.

Fenerbahçe set to sign Krunic in January

According to recent reports in the Italian press, Milan deemed Krunic surplus and the player was open to a move to Fenerbahçe.

According to Yaz Sabuncuolu’s report, Fenerbahçe and Krunic have reached a preliminary agreement. Mario Branco, Fenerbahçe’s Sports Director, is expected to travel to Italy in the coming days to negotiate with Milan.

According to the same report, Krunic received information and suggestions about life in Istanbul from a Serbian player who had previously played in Turkey.

Meanwhile, the Italian press reported that Milan would demand 10 million euros for Krunic during the winter transfer window, after initially refusing a move for less than 12 million euros in the summer.
