Fiorentina and Kayode have reached an agreement on a new contract.
Fiorentina are nearing an agreement with Italian-born Nigerian full-back Michael Kayode on a new contract.
Kayode has been impressive in a string of early-season performances in the 2023-24 season.
The 19-year-old has made five games in Serie A and two in the Conference League, recording one assist in each.

Arsenal and Bundesliga clubs have expressed interest in him as a result of his excellent performances.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Football Italia, Fiorentina director Daniele Prade and CEO Joe Barone were in Milan on Monday afternoon seeking to reach an agreement on a new contract.
Kayode presently receives an estimated €30,000 per season, which, according to recent Corriere Fiorentino rumours, is scheduled to be dramatically upped to a sum closer to €1 million per year.
Kayode is expected to sign a five-year contract with La Viola.
Michael Kayode is still eligible to play for Nigeria due to his parents’ eligibility.
