Gleison Bremer renews with Juventus until 2028

Over the last two seasons, the Brazilian has been crucial to Massimiliano Allegri and his staff, and he has become almost ubiquitous for the Bianconeri in the 2023-24 season.

This season, the 26-year-old has played over 1,500 minutes in Serie A, starting in all 17 of the Old Lady’s league games and only being replaced once.

Gleison Bremer had already agreed to a five-year contract when he joined Juve from Torino in the summer of 2022. He has now agreed to extend his commitment for another year, less than 18 months after signing it.

Although no figures have been confirmed, it is expected that Bremer’s annual salary will be adjusted. Before the contract extension, it is estimated that he was earning between €5.5m and €6m per year.

The new contract is expected to benefit both Juventus and the player, as a longer contract will allow the club to spread Bremer’s amortised cost over a longer period of time, which is good news for the Bianconeri accounting department.

Gleison Bremer is staying at Juventus

Bremer’s original contract with Juventus was set to expire in 2027, but the Bianconeri were eager to reward the 26-year-old’s performances with a raise, and the club has now announced that a new deal has been signed.

The defender’s new contract will extend until the end of the 2027-28 season, and he expressed his delight in a short video message on Juve’s social media channels, saying: “Hi Bianconeri fans, I’m delighted to have renewed until 2028.” Alright? Forever Juve.”

Bremer is the fifth Juventus player to sign a new contract since the start of the season, following Nicolo Fagioli, Manuel Locatelli, Federico Gatti, and Kenan Yildiz.
