Jose Mourinho denied rumors that in recent days have linked him with a move to PSG ahead of next season.

The AS Roma coach has left nothing to the imagination when discussing the links which are a source of concern for Roma fans.

“If PSG are looking for me, they haven’t found me. They have not spoken to me,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia, dispelling doubts about his future.

The statements come after several days of speculation after RMC published that the Parisian side had approached Mourinho.

It is not the first time so far this season that there has been speculation about the Portuguese’s departure.

At the beginning of the year, he was linked with the Portuguese national team and, shortly after, there was talk of the possibility of him becoming coach of both the Brazilian national team as well as Roma.

For his part, Mourinho has a contract with the Giallorossi until 2024, although he has acknowledged on several occasions that he is happy in the Italian capital, he does not hide the fact that he has other ambitions.

Jose Mourinho over PSG role offer

“I’m happy here, I can’t hide it. I like the people, and I have a good relationship with the ownership, and if I say otherwise I’m lying. The players are fantastic, they have tremendous empathy with each other. They are not like sons because I have two, but almost,” he said on April 20, just after the match against Feyenoord, which sealed the club’s place in the Europa League semi-finals.

“I can’t say I’m not happy. Sometimes I think about frustrations and sometimes I think about other ambitions, but today the important thing is that I am happy and I work for the people and I have seen them happy. That’s what’s important,” he added.
