Keylor Navas turned down the option to join Al-Hilal in order to spend the summer in Paris. During the summer transfer window, Al-Hilal approached Navas about a possible transfer. However, the Costa Rican stopper’s family is content in Paris, and Navas is content to be Gianluigi Donnarumma’s backup for PSG in the future.

Al-Hilal have signed Sevilla midfielder Yassine Bounou after the former Nottingham Forest loanee turned down a transfer to the Gulf State. In addition to Saudi Arabia, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper was courted by Inter Milan, Fenerbahçe, and Premier League clubs this summer, according to Foot Mercato.

Navas impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, appearing 17 times and helping the club secure Premier League survival. Luis Enrique is impressed with the 36-year-old’s passing and will rely on him if something unexpected prevents Donnarumma from wearing the goalkeeper’s shirt.
