Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Napoli winger is close to signing a new contract, according to journalist Nicol Schira.

According to sources, the player is eager to extend his contract with the club. The new agreement may continue until 2028, with an option to extend for an additional year until 2029. Under the terms of the contract, the footballer will receive paid four million euros per year. Negotiations between the club and the player continue.

Kvaratskhelia officially joined Napoli in July 2022. On August 15, 2022, he made his Serie A debut for the club against Verona, scoring in the 37th minute. Since the 2007/2008 season, he has set a performance record for Napoli players in the “goal + assist” system. Kvaratskhelia has five points (four goals and one assist) after four Serie A debuts in which he started. In August 2022, he was named the best player in the Italian championship.

On October 4, 2022, he made his Champions League debut against Ajax in a group stage match.
