Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake have NOT travelled with Man City squad to face Real Madrid.

City revealed their squad list on Monday, and the injured pair were not among the 21 players.

Walker, 33, has missed City’s last three Premier League games due to a hamstring injury acquired while on international duty for England.

Ake, 29, has missed City’s last two games after suffering a calf injury in the first half of their goalless draw with Arsenal on March 31.

Guardiola added on Monday, ahead of the Madrid game, that fellow defender Josko Gvardiol, who was sent out at halftime in Saturday’s 4-2 win against Crystal Palace, is a “doubt” despite having traveled with the group.

“It’s what it is,” Guardiola said. “Madrid has (Thibaut) Courtois, (Eder) Militao, and (David) Alaba; yet, they have been without players for quite some time.

‘Unfortunately, Kyle sustained an injury during a friendly game. We’d love to have him, but what can we say?

“Injuries are part of a long season but unfortunately in a decisive part of the season we have a number of injuries in the same area and we have to find a solution.”

Guardiola had stated before the Palace victory that goalkeeper Ederson was “much better”. The Brazilian suffered an injury in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool on March 10, missing the two games after the international break before returning to the bench against Palace. He has also been named to City’s squad for the trip to Madrid.

There is also room for 19-year-old Spanish midfielder Mahamadou Susoho, who has been a regular for City Under-21s this season and has made six outings in the first-team squad. Susoho made his City debut as a substitute in a 3-2 victory over Red Star Belgrade in December.
