Kylian Mbappe announces his intention to leave PSG in Future

Kylian Mbappe has stated that he will not spend the rest of his career with Paris Saint-Germain.
Since joining the French giants in 2017, Mbappe has established himself as one of their greatest players.

In addition to winning 13 silverware, the France international has 238 goals in all competitions, making him the club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

Given his global status, Mbappe’s future has been a constant source of speculation, particularly in recent years, when Real Madrid has expressed a strong interest.

Mbappe has already turned down a lucrative move to the Bernabeu to extend his stay at Parc des Princes, and speculation about a summer move persists due to the attacker’s contract expiring in less than six months.

Kylian Mbappe confirms that he will PSG in Future

The 25-year-old has insisted that he is not in a hurry to decide his future, while the PSG hierarchy is confident that they will be able to agree on another contract with their star player.

However, in an interview with GQ, Mbappe stated that he plans to take on a new challenge in the future.

Mbappe stated: “Many great players who have shaped the history of football have left Europe this summer, and we are entering a new era.”

“It’s become part of the sport’s cycle, and it will eventually be my turn to leave. I am not concerned about these changes. I’m just thinking about continuing my career and pursuing my own path.”

Mbappe is currently focusing on winning his first UCL trophy with PSG, who face Real Sociedad in the last 16.

In pursuit of their sixth championship in seven years, PSG also has an eight-point lead in Ligue 1.

Nonetheless, Liverpool and Real Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation as they both seek to complete a blockbuster free transfer.

However, Real reportedly has a self-imposed deadline in place as a result of missing out on Mbappe at the last minute in 2022.
