Yamal’s value to FC Barcelona has grown since his debut with the Blaugrana, and he has now broken a few records versus Granada.

Yamal, who made his FC Barcelona senior squad debut in April 2023, is now the youngest player to score ten or more goals and assist in a single season. The La Masia product accomplished the feat in 16 years and 213 days. In addition, the adolescent has become the youngest player in La Liga history to score two goals.

The young player has been heralded as the next big thing in years to come since making his debut. However, in just ten months, the teenager from Blaugrana has outperformed every other attacker in the starting lineup, recording the most successful dribbles for FC Barcelona this season. This is a testament to his maturity and rapid rate of growth.

He has not only been extremely successful with his flawless pace and dribbling. Nonetheless he is also finding his shooting rhythm. On Monday, he scored two goals against Granada.

The left-footed right winger has three goals and two assists in La Liga this season. He has benched some big names in recent games as he has established himself as an unquestionable starter in the starting XI of the iconic club FC Barcelona despite his young age.

FC Barcelona has been quite on-and-off this season, breathing fire and cold at times, and such inconsistencies have led to them falling far behind league leaders Real Madrid in their title defence this season, and they were dealt yet another blow when they ended up drawing 3-3 at home to Granada.

However, Lamine Yamal salvaged the day for the Culers with a bullet effort from outside the box that equalized and made it 3-3 as Barcelona and Granada shared the spoils at the final whistle.
