According to reports, Bayern Munich striker Sadio Mane has agreed in principle to join Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.

The former Liverpool star has been linked with a move to the Middle East during the current transfer season.

Mane is coming off a disappointing debut season with Bayern, scoring 12 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions and gaining notoriety after a violent fight with teammate Leroy Sane following a Champions League loss.

In May, 90min claimed that Bayern Munich would consider bids for Sadio, however he originally refused to negotiate a move to Saudi Arabia.

After taking over at Al Ettifaq, Steven Gerrard attempted to increase Saudi Pro League interest in Mane, but 90min knows he has now rapidly secured an agreement in principle on personal terms with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.

Mane to fly Saudi from Germany

Mane has previously stated that he would not contemplate moving to Saudi Arabia, even as recently as a fortnight ago.

Bayern feel they will not be able to repay the £35 million they spent Liverpool to get Sadio, but will try to bring in a number as close to that as feasible.

The Bundesliga champions think that this trade will go fast and that Mane will join Al Nassr in the near future.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich remains interested in buying Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, yet insiders have told 90min that Spurs are still unwilling to place a price tag on their star striker.
