The Gunners rebounded from three consecutive losses on Saturday afternoon, defeating Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium to move into third place in the Premier League table.

Arsenal are only two points off division leaders Liverpool. However, some believe that their lack of an elite striker may cost them the chance to win the trophy.

Ivan Toney, a resident of Brentford, has connections to the North London club. He scored on Saturday against Nottingham Forest to complete his eagerly anticipated comeback.

Forwards Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna and Victor Osimhen of Napoli are being corresponding with a move to Emirates Stadium.

When asked if Arsenal could finish ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City to win the title this season, Mikel Arteta suggested they would stick with what they have for the rest of the season.

“We’ll do our best. We need to ensure that our players feel trusted and confident. If they are unsure, it is not helpful. “We love our players,” Arteta told reporters.

Bukayo Saka is Arsenal’s top goalscorer in all competitions this season, with nine, but Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah have only seven and six goals in 2023-24.

Gabriel Martinelli scored twice against Palace on Saturday, taking his tally to six for the season, and Arteta heaped praise on the Brazilian following the game.

“I believe that will improve him significantly. That changes your momentum, perception, and reenergizes you. He wasn’t fully fit because of a minor issue that occurred during his training sessions a few days ago. When asked about the attacker, Arsenal’s manager responded, “It’s everything.”
