Nacho Fernández and Real Madrid have reached an agreement to extend our captain’s contract until June 30, 2024.
Nacho has guarded the Real Madrid insignia and shirt for 22 years, having joined the Alevn A from our quarries in July 2001, when he was just 11 years old.
He played 319 games for Real Madrid and won 23 titles: 5 European Cups, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 3 Leagues, 2 Copas del Rey, and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
Nacho has 24 caps for the Spanish national team, which was just crowned winner of the 2023 Nations League.
