Newcastle United signed Tino Livramento

Newcastle United FC has signed Southampton defender Tino Livramento for an undisclosed amount.

The England Under-21 international has signed a five-year contract with the Magpies after the two clubs agreed on a rumored fee of roughly £35 million.

“I’m really excited to have signed for Newcastle United.”
“I’m looking forward to playing in front of the fans,” Livramento said on the club’s official website.

We are happy to announce the signing of Southampton’s Tino Livramento!

“I was here for the weekend’s games; even though they were friendlies, there were so many fans and they were still so loud, so I can’t wait to see what it’s like to play in front of them in a Premier League or Champions League game.”

“The manager’s style of play is very appealing, and I believe it suits me as a player.”
“I’m very glad to be a part of it in light of how well the team performed last season and the current course we’re headed on.

This summer, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe added three new players to his squad. He has included AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali and Leicester winger Harvey Barnes.

Livramento signed a five-year contract with Southampton in August 2021 after joining from Chelsea for £5 million. Due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered in April 2022, he missed all but two games last season.

“Tino is a very talented young player with an exciting future ahead of him.”
“We are delighted to sign him,” manager Eddie Howe stated.

“At 20, he already possesses many qualities that I admire.”
“He also has the ability and desire to truly grow with this team.”

“I’m looking forward to working with him and seeing how he develops in a Newcastle shirt.”
