Neymar Jr wants to spend the remainder of his career with PSG.

Neymar wants to end his career at PSG.
Neymar wishes to retire from PSG, where he has a contract until 2027.

The striker was frequently linked with a move back to Barcelona or another team, but he stayed in Paris. According to The Athletic, the scenario is expected to remain the same because the 31-year-old wants to finish his career with PSG.

After joining PSG from Barcelona for a record €222 million in 2017, Neymar helped the club reach the Champions League final in 2020 and win 13 titles in France. According to Forbes, the Brazilian’s accomplishments at PSG raised the club’s valuation from $841 million to 3.2 billion dollars.

Because Neymar has become the most expensive player in history, a potential buyer will have to invest significantly in his purchase. Neymar wants to play with PSG until the end of his career, regardless of the financial performance of a potential agreement. The Brazilian is eager to help the team prosper, particularly in the Champions League, which PSG has yet to win.

Neymar’s current deal with the Parisians expires in the summer of 2027. It is unknown whether the Brazilian will retire at the age of 35. Maybe he’ll sign another deal with PSG.

The striker has no plans to play for another team at the time.

This season, Neymar has made 29 appearances for PSG in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and contributing 16 assists. He suffered an ankle injury on February 19 that sidelined him for the rest of the season.
