Michael Olise stunner wins Premier League Goal of the Month.
Michael Olise Free-Kick goal made him win the award for January

Michael Olise won the Premier League Goal of the Month for January. He wins the award after scoring a superb free-kick in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

The league’s outstanding strike of the month was determined by a combination of fan votes and a panel of experts.

When his team trailed entering extra time at Selhurst Park, Olise stepped up to the plate. From more than 30 yards out, he blasted an inch-perfect free kick that sailed high beyond David De Gea.

Olise’s goal was chosen ahead of Daniel Podence’s (Wolves vs. Aston Villa); Solly March and Danny Welbeck’s (Brighton vs. Liverpool); Kaoru Mitoma’s (Brighton vs. Leicester); Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka’s (Manchester United vs. Arsenal); and Harry Kane’s (Brighton vs. Leicester) (for Tottenham against Fulham).

The award is Palace’s fourth; Andros Townsend won it twice for his efforts against West Bromwich Albion (in March 2017). Andros Townsend also won the award in December 2018. Wilfried Zaha won it for his goal against Norwich City (February 2022).

Michael has won the Premier League Goal of the Month award for January. Thus, everyone at Palace would like to congratulate him.
