Otavio, a Portuguese midfielder, has joined Al-Nassr from Porto, the Saudi Pro League club announced on Tuesday.

The transfer fee was not disclosed by the club, but local media reported it to be approximately 60 million euros ($65.08 million).

Otavio, 28, scored 31 goals in 283 games for Porto after joining the club in 2014.

“We have officially signed Otavio, the Portuguese star.” “A Warm Welcome to the Best Player in Liga Portugal,” Al-Nassr wrote on Twitter.

Otavio joins a roster that includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles, and Seko Fofana for Al-Nassr.

Luis Castro’s team has had a rough start to the Pro League season, losing both of its first two games.

The Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) has launched a Sports Clubs Investment and Privatisation Project comprising Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, and Al-Hilal, the league champions.

PIF owns 75% of each of the four clubs, with non-profit foundations owning the remaining 25%.
