Paris Saint-Germain to place second bid for Kolo Mauni

Paris Saint-Germain is interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani (24). The 24-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt striker is said to have already signed personal terms on a five-year contract with Les Parisiens.

On Saturday, L’Équipe reported that PSG, boosted by Neymar’s €90 million sale to PIF-backed Al-Hilal, had made an initial approach to their Bundesliga counterparts. According to Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport, Eintracht Frankfurt rejected PSG’s first approach of €65 million plus bonuses on Sunday. Hawkins knows that the Ligue 1 winners intend to raise the stakes with a second bid.

Paris Saint-Germain wants Kolo Mauni for the Frontline

Paris Saint-Germain are continuing their chase of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani.

The Parisians will make a new offer for the French international today, according to L’Equipe.

PSG had earlier made a bid of €60 million plus an additional €10 million in bonuses and add-ons, which Die Adler quickly rejected.

After decreasing their initial demands of €100 million, they are apparently holding out for roughly €80 million.

Kolo Muani had 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 games for Frankfurt in his first season in Germany.

He led them to the DFB Pokal final, finishing as the tournament’s best scorer.

The 24-year-old also earned France international status and will compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Kolo Muani kicked off the new season with a bang, scoring the sole goal as Frankfurt overcame Darmstadt in their first Bundesliga game.

His skills have piqued the interest of numerous prominent European clubs seeking for a talented striker with a distinctive profile.

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and others have all expressed interest in him, but PSG are now the frontrunners for his signature. They’ve even reached an agreement on personal terms.

PSG is reshuffling their attack, and Kolo Muani has been touted as a major target to reinforce the frontline. He had been on their transfer list for quite some time, but they had fallen out of the race.

They have reopened negotiations after losing Neymar, Lionel Messi, and maybe Kylian Mbappe, who continues to refuse to sign a new contract.
