Punjab Kings, an Indian Premier League franchise, has are suffering a setback after their player Raj Angad Bawa ruled out of the competition. Bawa appeared in two matches for Punjab last season but will be unable to participate in the current edition of the tournament due to a left shoulder injury.
The 2014 IPL finalist has also announced a replacement for Bawa, signing Gurnoor Singh Brar for INR 20 lakh. Gurnoor is a left-handed batting all-rounder who debuted for Punjab in the 2022-23 season.

Even though he only played in 5 games, the promise he displayed would have impressed the management who made the decision to include him in the squad. In his first-class career, he has 1 half-century from 5 innings and 7 wickets from 8 innings.
Punjab Kings Sign Gurnoor Singh for replacement
Raj Angad Bawa is out of the tournament due to a left shoulder injury.
Due to a shoulder injury, Punjab Kings player Raj Angad Bawa will not participate in the IPL in 2023. Gurnoor Brar is appointed for his base salary of 20 lakh before PBKS’s second game of the season against the Rajasthan Royals.
