Real Madrid advances to the UEFA Champions League final

Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on Saturday, June 1 at 9:00 p.m. at London’s Wembley Stadium. Our squad will compete with the Germans for the Decimoquinta.

This will be the first time Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund meet in a European Cup final. Dortmund will be trying to win the trophy for the second time in their third final appearance. Edin Terzić’s squad won Group F and advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating PSV, Atlético de Madrid, and PSG in the quarter-finals.

Real Madrid will compete in the Eighteenth European Cup Final

Real Madrid will play in their eighteenth European Cup final. Their record to date is 14 titles in 17 appearances, with a win rate of more than 80%. They have played in more finals than any other club, and they have also won more.

The great team led by Di Stéfano won the first five seasons between 1956 and 1960. Their opponents included Stade de Reims (4-3), Fiorentina (2-0), Milan (3-2), Stade de Reims (2-0), and Eintracht Frankfurt (7-3). After losing to Benfica and Inter in 1962 and 1964, La Sexta defeated Partizan 2-1 in 1966.

Madrid failed to win the trophy in 1981, losing to Liverpool. Since that night, they have won every final they’ve played. La Séptima faced Juventus, which won 1-0 in Amsterdam in 1998. In the following years, La Octava defeated Valencia in Paris (3-0) and La Novena defeated Bayer Leverkusen in Glasgow (2-1 in 2002), with Zidane scoring an incredible volley.

Real Madrid Recent titles

In 2014, with Ancelotti in charge, La Décima was won in Lisbon owing to Ramos’ iconic goal (4-1). Real Madrid won La Undécima again in Milan in 2016, this time against Atlético. In 2017, Cardiff hosted La Duodécima, who defeated Juventus 4-1. They defeated Liverpool 3-1 in 2018 and again (0-1) in 2022 to win La Decimocuarta in Paris.
