Rumors on Cristiano Ronaldo transfer to Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has denied reports that a deal with Saudi club Al Nassr has been reached. He is claiming that such reports are false.

“No, that’s not true not true,” he said as he passed through the mixed zone following Portugal’s 6-1 demolition of Switzerland on Tuesday. In the game he was only used as a second-half substitute.

Ronaldo is a free agent after his contract with Manchester United. The star was mutually terminated following his interview with TalkTV in which he heavily criticized the club.

United received a bid for Ronaldo from Saudi Arabia in the summer. They were willing to accept it, only for the deal to fall through.

Ronaldo says in an interview with TalkTV that he turned down the £305 million move.
