The Citizens spent £47,000 on beverages during their Premier League victory celebration on the night Jack Grealish ‘really went home early.’

According to Jack Grealish’s father Kevin, Manchester City’s opulent Premier League triumph celebrations cost them £47,000 in beverages.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City completed a historic trifecta on Saturday with a 1-0 victory against Inter in Istanbul, capturing the club’s first Champions League trophy after winning the league and FA Cup earlier this month.

However, Kevin Grealish, the father of party animal Jack, has disclosed that the club’s fifth Premier League triumph in the last six seasons prompted similarly lavish celebrations.

Kevin told The Mirror: “To be fair to City, they’ve been brilliant with the celebrations and all the parties.” The Sky Blue heroes went to the Tunnel Club, the Etihad’s best hospitality suite. A few weeks ago, there was one for winning the Premier League at the Tunnel Club. The total cost of the beverages was £47,000, FORTY SEVEN GRAND! I saw the receipt, and before you say anything, it wasn’t only Jack’s bar tab. That night, he actually went home early!”

It has been widely news that Grealish went all out during his post-Istanbul celebration, including standing nude atop the team’s parade bus and donning a sizable portion of Erling Haaland’s champagne bottle, as father Kevin hinted about.

Alf-Inge, a former City star and the father of Haaland, is allegedly at play, according to Kevin.

“All of the families get along really well, and Alf, Haaland’s old man, is a great bloke, really down to earth,” he continued. He approached me and said, “Have some of this cigar.” I took a puff and nearly coughed up my guts. I haven’t smoked in 28 years!”
