The Red Devils have withdrawn their interest in acquiring Tottenham’s Harry Kane this summer. The club believe his price tag is too high.

United have dropped their interest in acquiring Kane from Tottenham, believing that the fees would be prohibitive this summer.

The Guardian claims that during this transfer season, United just lacks the means to pay for the England captain.

Kane’s contract will end in a year. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly hesitant to discuss a transfer during the current window amid rumors that Real Madrid may also pounce.

The Red Devils allegedly feels the need to decrease its standards. They are also keeping interest in Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund. Hojlund is now who costs around £50 million ($63.4 million).

It is unknown if Kane would leave Tottenham this summer, since Real Madrid are allegedly interested in signing Kylian Mbappe from PSG, amid reports of a breach between the World Cup winner and the club.
