The Red Devils are targeting Harry Kane, Mason Mount, and Declan Rice as summer transfer targets, although all three are unlikely to be signed; United are frontrunners to get Mount; Kane is United’s top target.

The Red Devils are interested in signing Harry Kane, Declan Rice, and Mason Mount this summer. But it seems doubtful that all three will be signed.

The three players are regarded to be the sort of people Erik ten Hag desires in his squad.

Manchester United are looking for a striker, and Kane is said to be their top target. United have long been interested in the striker. But Spurs are unwilling to move and he is under contract with them until next summer.

Rice will be permitted to leave West Ham for a fee this summer. But Arsenal are now his most probable destination. Mount’s contract expires in a year, and Chelsea still wants him to sign a new deal.

United’s transfer strategy will be determined by the outcome of the acquisition and who controls the club. Over the summer, United will want to sell as well as add players.

The Red Devils are the frontrunners to sign Chelsea’s Mason Mount

If Mason Mount left Chelsea this summer, United have emerged as the frontrunners to capture him.

The English midfielder is reportedly of more interest to Erik ten Hag’s team than to rival Liverpool.

They are also said to have enquired about his availability this season and have been encouraged by his delicate situation at Stamford Bridge.

Mount’s contract ends in 2024, and with Chelsea wanting him to continue, there have been negotiations about a new agreement during a tough season for both team and player.

However, the player must fit within the responsible salary structure that Chelsea is attempting to create, and those conversations have yet to yield an agreement.

Neil Fewings of Wasserman, who also represents Virgil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson, has Liverpool in Mount wanting it.

Newcastle and Tottenham are also closely monitoring the situation. On the other hand, Manchester United is now thinking to be ahead of its rivals.

Following his hiring as Chelsea’s next manager, Mauricio Pochettino is likely to meet with Mount, which might shift the complexion of the issue.

It is unclear whether Pochettino views the midfielder as essential to his goals and whether he will have any influence on his decision to recommit to the team where he first played.

If Mount sees his future elsewhere, Chelsea are willing to trade. But the Blues will expect more than £70 million for the 24-year-old.
