Spurs are offering Real Madrid to sign the England striker Harry Kane this summer. They want this deal in a player-plus-cash deal that includes Eden Hazard.
Kane, 29, is out of contract in North London next summer, and this is likely to be the last chance for Spurs to cash in on the striker before he becomes a free agent.
Their preference is to sell him to a club outside of England.
The England international has been linked with a move to Manchester United, where Erik ten Hag is looking for a top-tier center striker.
United believes Kane’s contractual position makes a trade plausible.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, on the other hand, is not keen on witnessing the striker’s departure to a Premier League competitor.
According to a rumor from Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, the departing Spanish and European champions have received an offer from an intermediary to sign Kane. They are now weighing their options.
Jamie Redknapp, a former Tottenham midfielder, has pushed Kane to quit the club this summer.
Kane has been a bright spark in a challenging season for the north London side, scoring 28 Premier League goals, second only to Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
However, the England captain has a year left on his present deal, and Redknapp believes that this summer is the best moment for Kane to leave’shambles’ Tottenham because he ‘deserves better’.
‘It’s the facts, it seems Spurs are a mess, if you’re Harry Kane with one year to go, now is the moment to leave, he needs to push now,’ the former midfielder said.
