Toni Kroos has apparently agreed to an extension with the Los Blancos.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is ready to extend his contract with the club, according to Italian writer and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The announcement comes as a huge relief to Los Blancos for Real Madrid supporters, as the ‘German sniper’ has by far been one of the best players in the club’s history, and he was one-third of the renowned midfield triangle that included him, Luka Modric, and Casemiro.

Casemiro left Real Madrid in 2022, and Luka Modric is on the verge of leaving because the Croatian legend has yet to renew his contract. Even though Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have aged significantly, their on-field antics demonstrate that age is just a number and that they are maturing like excellent wine.

According to reports, the legendary German midfielder will sign a one-year contract extension.

This is significant because if Luka Modric leaves the team, he will be the only senior midfielder remaining.

With players like Fede Verde and Eduardo Camavinga, two of the best young midfielders in the world, Real Madrid’s next generation of midfielders is already frightening opponents, so Los Blancos will be hoping that a senior figure stays and leads the group.
