Toni Kroos turned down Saudi Arabia's offer

Toni Kroos has turned down a ‘big offer’ to quit Real Madrid this summer.

Real Madrid starlet Toni Kroos has turned down a large offer from the Saudi Pro League. He refused the Arabic club in order to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Toni Kroos signed a one-year contract deal with Real Madrid in April, extending his stay until the summer of 2024. This allayed worries that the German will leave the club this summer or retire from football entirely.

According to BILD, he just got a “huge offer” from Saudi Arabia. Kroos solely wants to play for Real Madrid. He has no plans to join compatriot Karim Benzema in the Saudi Pro League this summer.

This would be a huge lift for Carlo Ancelotti and his team. Since joining Real Madrid from FC Bayern in 2014, Kroos has established himself as one of the best midfielders his age.

Toni Kroos has made 417 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 27 goals and contributing 89 assists. He also won 20 major trophies with Los Blancos, including three La Liga titles and four UEFA Champions League medals.

The former Germany international will aim to make a comeback with Real Madrid next season. The Spanish giants had a disappointing season by their lofty standards, dropping the La Liga title to rivals Barcelona and falling to Manchester City in the Champions League semi-finals on aggregate 5-1.
