Victor Osimhen scored an equalizer against Udinese in the second with header. That goal helped Napoli win Serie A for the first time in 33 years.

After a scramble from a corner kick, the Nigerian Striker powered home a shot through the crowd to help Napoli hold on and clinch the Italian league title away from home in Udine.

Victor Osimhen scored his 22nd league goal of the season in the game, making him the Serie A top scorer. He hold the record for most goals by an African player in the Italian top flight in a single season. Previously, the illustrious Samuel Eto’o kept this record.

The Cameroonian icon scored 21 goals for Inter Milan in the 2010/11 season, as the club failed to defend the title it won the previous season under Jose Mourinho, losing to city rival AC Milan.

Osimhen has now tied Liberian legend George Weah. The record is the most goals scored in the Italian league by an African player with his 46th goal.
