Ansu Fati Transfer Update: Barcelona is reportedly willing to sell the forward during the summer transfer window.

Fati was expected to succeed Lionel Messi. When he first joined the Barcelona senior levels, he was likewise expecting to play his entire career at Camp Nou.

He has 112 appearances for the Catalan giants last season and contributed 29 goals and 10 assists to his total. Despite the good results, the winger spent the majority of his time on the bench.

The recent transfer window appeared as a time to get rid of the Spain international. It is only because Barcelona wanted to strengthen their financial situation as much as possible.

Fati did not want to go on a permanent basis, and genuine offers did not come through, therefore a loan swap to Brighton & Hove Albion was eventually finalized.

Since then, the 20-year-old has seen regular game time for the Seagulls, accumulating 239 minutes of football across five outings in all competitions.

Fati also scored in the Premier League over the weekend, although in a 6-1 loss to Aston Villa. He will be hoping to play against Marseille in the Europa League on Thursday night.

From Barcelona’s perspective, they want Fati to get as much game time as possible so that he can justify charging as much as possible next summer.

It is decided that the club management will accompany Fati if an adequate request for his signature arrives.

La Liga has already revealed Barcelona’s budget cap for 2024-25, and president Joan Laporta is aware of the necessary cuts.

Ansu Fati | Barca ready to sell the YOUNG MAN?

Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation in case Fati starts his career at the Amex Stadium.

If it means offloading Joao Felix, who is on loan at Barcelona, Atletico Madrid might also be open to discussing a swap or part-exchange deal.

Ansu Fati is under contract with Barcelona until 2027. However, it seems unlikely that he will be back into the first squad unless he excels at Brighton or other high-profile sales happen soon.
