Laporte set to sign three-year deal at AL Nassr FC

Laporte is on his way to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. The team is likely to ink a three-year contract with the French-born Spanish international.

Laporte’s time at Manchester City is nearly up. After joining from Athletic Bilbao for €65 million in 2018, he went on to make 180 Premier League games, capturing every title imaginable. With the arrival of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig, he has now lost his place in the team.

Laporte’s transfer to Al Nassr is practically complete after many weeks of discussions. The Spanish international will join the club on a three-year contract for $15 million each year. Aymeric Laporte joins a squad that includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, Marcelo Brozovi, and Seko Fofana, a former RC Lens midfielder. Manchester City have already accepted Al Nassr’s bid for Laporte, according to The Athletic.
