Barcelona hopes to acquire a new left winger this summer, but the amount of money available to sports director Deco will determine whether or not that happens. Still, this hasn’t stopped them from pursuing their “dream” signing in the position, Napoli and Georgia star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
According to Diario AS, Barcelona has been in talks with Napoli for several weeks about Kvaratskhelia, who is apparently under contract with the Neapolitans. It’s worth noting that the 23-year-old’s father and agent are both Barcelona fans, despite the fact that Kvara supports Real Madrid.
The trouble for Barcelona is that Kvaratskhelia would be extremely expensive, maybe far too much for them in their current financial situation. Napoli sees him as the face of their squad for next season, and with Victor Osimhen on the verge of leaving, they’d be unlikely to sell their two most valuable assets in the same window.
Barcelona has made contact with Napoli on the possibility of signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
