Declan Rice: Arsenal makes a third proposal of £105 million for West Ham player Declan Rice.

Declan Rice: Gunner made third bid for English Midfielder

West Ham rejected Manchester City’s £90 million deal for Declan Rice previously. Despite seeing two club-record offers shut down, Arsenal still has interest in the midfielder. Rice is worth £120 million according to West Ham’s valuation. But it’s thought the club may accept £100 million plus a player.

The Gunners has made a third bid of £105 million for West Ham’s Declan Rice. If the deal is finalized, it will make him the most expensive British player ever.

The contract is structured as a £100 million initial fee plus £5 million in performance-related add-ons.

The bid breaks Arsenal’s transfer record of £72 million paid to Lille for Nicolas Pepe in 2019.

Rice has been Arsenal’s main goal this summer, and the player prefers to play with the Gunners.

Premier League winners Manchester City had made an initial bid of £80 million, plus £10 million in add-ons, for the England midfielder, but the offer fell short of West Ham’s value.

Arsenal had a club-record £90 million deal turned down by their London rivals earlier this month after their original offer, reported to be worth £80 million plus add-ons, was also rejected.

Will West Ham accept Arsenal’s most recent offer?

West Ham’s estimate of Rice stands at £120 million, but it is believed the club would accept £100 million plus a player.

Gunners must negotiate the terms of their new record-breaking offer for Rice.

West Ham United is believed to want the guaranteed sum paid in a shorter period of time.

The overall amount of £105 million is not expected to be a problem.

Declan Rice is all set to go from West Ham United

Rice will depart West Ham in the offseason after leading the team to its first European title in 58 years.

Despite having a year left on his contract, Rice is free to leave the club. One more year might get add to the contract. The Hammers chairman David Sullivan stated in report.

Rice joined West Ham’s academy as a teenager after leaving Chelsea, and he has been a constant since his breakout season in 2017-18. After Mark Noble retired last year, he took over as captain.

Last season, the 24-year-old played 50 games across all competitions for West Ham, finishing 14th in the Premier League before winning the Europa Conference League in Prague.

Rice has appeared in almost 200 games for West Ham and has gained 41 matches for England since his debut in 2019.
