There is currently no official agreement between Inter and Taremi. The 31-year-old Iranian international has yet to sign his contract with the Nerazzurri.

But that is only a matter of time.

Inter have been in talks with Taremi’s representatives for several weeks now.

And the 31-year-old intends to join once his current contract expires.

Taremi’s deal with Porto expires at the end of June.

Inter and Taremi’s representatives have completely agreed on personal terms for the transaction.

And, with less than six months remaining on his contract, the Iranian is free to openly negotiate with other clubs and sign a pre-contract agreement for the coming summer.

Taremi is still at the Asian Cup with Iran. He will not decide his future at the club while still on international duty.

However, once Taremi returns, he will formally commit his future to Inter.

Everything is ready for the 31-year-old to sign a pre-contract agreement, which will pave the way for a summer transfer.

According to the Gazzetta, Inter has submitted all of the necessary paperwork to Porto.

The Nerazzurri have officially informed the Portuguese that they intend to sign Taremi. In addition, given the current state of negotiations, a pre-contract agreement is imminent.

Taremi is expected to sign a two-year contract with Inter.

This would include the option for an additional season.

Taremi was already on Inter’s radar last summer. However, the Nerazzurri declined to sign the Iranian due to Porto’s high asking price.
