Lamine Yamal is now valued at €145M

Lamine Yamal has definitely been one of the season’s biggest breakout players, becoming a regular for FC Barcelona despite being only 16 years old.

The adolescent wonderkid made his first-team debut as a 15-year-old last season, but has made a significant breakthrough in the current season.

Yamal, who now plays for both Barcelona and the Spanish national team, has seen his stock skyrocket, with club president Joan Laporta stating that they turned down proposals of €200 million for him.

Lamine Yamal: The transfer value continues to climb

Now, the CIES Football Observatory has released data highlighting Lamine Yamal’s rapid surge in transfer value.

According to CIES Observatory, Yamal leads the list of players under the age of 23 who have had the greatest gain in transfer value over the last six months.

During the period under consideration, the Barcelona wonderkid’s transfer worth, determined by the CIES Football Observatory statistical model, increased by a whopping €134 million, from €11 million to €145 million.

Benfica’s Joao Neves (+€72 million) and Girona’s Savio (+€70 million) are second and third on the list.

Yamal is ranked first on the list, followed by Endrick, Warren Zaire-Emery, Alejandro Garnacho, Cole Palmer, Florian Wirtz, and Jeremy Doku.

This comes after Yamal’s market worth on Transfermarkt increased dramatically, reaching €75 million in last month’s update despite being allocated no value a year earlier due to his age.

All of this demonstrates Yamal’s rapid development, as well as the quality and potential of his abilities. The sky is the limit for the La Masia sensation.
