Las Palmas are already preparing for the departure of Sergi Cardona, who is expected to leave in the summer when his contract ends, with Atletico Madrid and Real Betis among the clubs interested in signing him.
The Gran Canaria club has selected Layvin Kurzawa as their major aim to replace Cardona. According to Fabrizio Romano, Las Palmas has began talks with the Paris Saint-Germain defender, whose contract expires at the conclusion of the season.
Kurzawa’s career has been on hiatus for the past three seasons. He appeared only once in the 2021-22 and 2023-24 seasons, and only six times for Fulham in 2022-23. He plans to get things back on track in the summer, which could include a move to La Liga.
Kurzawa is not in a hurry to make a decision on his future. He intends to wait for further offers before making a final decision, at which point Las Palmas will hope that they are the fortunate ones to gain his signature.
