Luis Enrique is hopeful that Kylian Mbappe might stay at the club despite predictions of an impending summer exit.

Luis Enrique expects Kyliam Mbappe to remain at PSG.

Luis Enrique clarifies what may inspire star to ‘alter his mind’ and turn down Real Madrid deal.

Mbappe has reportedly informed PSG that he will quit the club when his contract expires at the end of the season and will join Real Madrid on a free transfer. No such move has been disclosed by either party, and the PSG coach believes the 25-year-old will remain in Paris.

He told Prime Video, “I still hope Kylian changes his mind.” He has not said anything yet; he may change his mind later. Assume we win all four trophies this season, and Kylian decides at the last minute… that his place is in Paris. Why not? “We’ll see.”

Mbappe has also remained silent on his future plans, lately denying that he has decided whether or not to leave PSG for Madrid. While on international assignment, he stated, “I didn’t announce anything because there was nothing to announce. I’ve always stated that when I have anything to say, I’ll come and identify myself as a man, then speak. Sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have anything exciting to announce.”

Mbappe and PSG are still in position to win Ligue 1, the Champions League, and the Coupe de France, having previously won the Trophee des Champions. On Sunday, the French giants will face their league rivals Marseille.
