The vacation of PSG’s Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi is now over. Following their return from the World Cup, the PSG duo got a week’s rest at the start of the new year. Before returning to Paris, the striker and right-back spent time in New York, where they attended an NBA game between the Brooklyn Nets and the San Antonio Spurs, and Morocco. Mbappe and Hakimi will return to the Camp des Loges training complex on Thursday, as planned.
While the pair was away, Les Parisiens advanced to the last 32 of the French Cup by defeating Châteauroux and handed Angers their tenth straight Ligue 1 defeat on Wednesday (2-0). Both Mbappé and Hakimi are likely to play for PSG this Sunday evening. They are travelling to Stade Rennais for matchday 19 of the Ligue 1 season.
