Paulo Dybala; Chelsea are reportedly ready to increase their pursuit of Roma forward.

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino hinted at a press conference on Monday that he was focused on using Chelsea’s current forward players given the talent that he still has at his disposal.
Nonetheless, a slew of names have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, the most recent of which appears to be one of Roma’s star men.
Paulo Dybala to Chelsea?
According to Fichajes, Chelsea will be first in line to sign Paulo Dybala in the coming week.
The Argentina international’s contract includes a €12 million (£10.32 million) release clause that is available to foreign clubs until January 15.
Chelsea appears to be considering exercising the previously mentioned buy-out option, even in the absence of formal offers.
The 30-year-old starred for Roma in Serie A in 2023-24, contributing five goals and six assists in 13 starts, and he now has 24 goals and 14 assists from just 55 appearances.
However, much will depend on Dybala’s desire to leave Italian football, where he has played since joining Palermo in 2012.
Although Pochettino insisted on Monday that Chelsea do not need to sell before buying to meet FFP criteria, spending just over £10 million on a high-profile player would undoubtedly be a significant piece of business.
Given Dybala’s age, it would be improbable that co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital would sign a player to a long-term contract in this instance, despite their history of doing so.
In order to meet their long-term goals of adhering to FFP regulations, Chelsea would consequently need to consent to pay a higher weekly wage. An evaluation of this challenge would be necessary.
