Joshua Kimmich is becoming a wanted man, and his future with Bayern Munich is uncertain.
According to Christian Falk, Liverpool and Manchester City have both expressed interest in the 28-year-old, who is under contract with the Rekordmeister until 2025.
Joshua Kimmich is committed to Bayern Munich and has no intention of leaving the team in January, despite interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG’s interest in Kimmich is well documented. According to Get French Football News, PSG’s attempt to lure Kimmich to the French capital has little chance of success during this window.
Newcastle United have also expressed interest in signing Kimmich, according to BILD (h/t: iMiaSanMia), but the player prefers to remain in Munich.
Bayern’s contract extension negotiations have yet to begin, but Max Eberl will likely to lead them. Kimmich, Leroy Sané, and Alphonso Davies’ contracts are all set to expire in the next 18 months, making it a busy time for Bayern’s recruitment team.
If no agreement is reached, the player may be forced to leave during the summer to avoid being released for free in 2025.
