Claudio Bravo will leave Real Betis at the end of the season

The former Barcelona and Manchester City goalkeeper’s contract expires in June.

Bravo stated, “My relationship with Betis expires in June, and we’ll see what happens from there. I feel prepared till June, and I will have plenty of possibilities for returning to my home country. Wherever it is, I shall strive to do what I have been doing for many years.

“I don’t rule out any university because I consider myself a professional in this subject. I’ll go where I feel liked and valued, not for money.

“I’ll have to go and do things properly. And if there is the chance to be appreciated and loved, I would go for free.”

Next season, Betis will need to replace their goalkeeper. According to Fabrizio Romano, Claudio Bravo, a great 41-year-old Chilean goalkeeper, will quit the team this summer.

Bravo, on the other hand, has no plans to retire and will seek a new challenge for himself. At the same time, Bravo has no ambitions to return to Chile, as another renowned footballer, Arturo Vidal, has done.

Claudio Bravo has played for Betis since the summer of 2020. However, this season, he lost out to Rui Silva for the starting goalkeeper spot. The seasoned goalkeeper has only appeared in 9 matches across all competitions.

Before joining Betis, Claudio Bravo represented Barcelona, Manchester City, and Real Sociedad.

Bravo has 147 caps for Chile’s national team. He has not yet concluded his international career and intends to compete in the Copa América 2024.
