Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde sign new Real Madrid deals

Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde have signed new Real Madrid contracts with hefty wage increases. According to COPE, the French midfielder has agreed to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2028.

Camavinga’s pay will be significantly increased. His release clause will be increased to €1 billion (£862 million/$1 billion) to deter any possible buyer.

The 20-year-old midfielder has established himself as an important part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans this season, appearing in 11 games and logging 645 minutes.

Valverde has also signed a new contract until 2028, a one-year extension from his existing contract, which expires in 2027. The Uruguayan will also have a €1 billion release clause, highlighting his role as Real Madrid’s undisputed starter.

He has made 11 appearances, like Camavinga. However, he has played much more minutes (838) and has one goal and three assists this season.

Camavinga and Valverde are both playing for their respective national teams, France and Uruguay. They will return to club duty following the international break in October to prepare for Real Madrid’s next La Liga match against Sevilla.
